Connections at convenient
places; a professional Tour Director;
deluxe motorcoach and driver; local
guides; all lodging; baggage handling; all
sightseeing and attractions listed in bold
print in our catalog; taxes and gratuities
on tour inclusions. Unless otherwise

charges such as telephone calls, room
service, meals unless specified, pre &
post night lodging, and gratuities for the

| |
| Singles, Triples, & Quads |
The price stated
in the tour description is per person
based on two people sharing the same
hotel room. Singles who prefer to stay
alone may do so by paying a single supplement
of $40 per night unless otherwise
stated in the tour description. The
supplement is for a single room but does
not guarantee an entire seat on the motorcoach.
Persons who prefer to stay
three or four to a room may do so with a
discount of $5 per person per night given
for triples or quads (this assumes existing
bedding) unless otherwise stated in the
tour description. |
| |
| Guaranteed Share Program for Single Travelers |
Share a room to save money
or for companionship. If you are willing to
accept a roommate of the same gender,
we will find one. If we can’t, you’ll still
travel at the “twin” rate. (See exceptions
in some itineraries.) |
| |
| Enjoyable Meals |
Meals are not included
in the tour price unless noted in
bold print in the tour itinerary. Some of
the motels in which we stay offer a complimentary
continental breakfast. While
traveling we make every effort to stop at
restaurants and buffets which offer good
food at reasonable prices. On average,
one can figure about $15 - $25 per day
for food depending on your eating habits.
Many of our breaks will be at fast-food
restaurants because they usually provide
quick service and clean restrooms. |
| |
| Lodging |
We stay at quality lodging such
as Drury, Holiday, LaQuinta, Comfort,
Baymont, Microtel and Hampton Inns. |
| |
| Lodging Before & After Tours |
You
may reserve lodging before or after a tour
at connecting motels. We will make the
reservations for you and you pay the
motel directly. You will receive confirmation
numbers and telephone numbers to
guarantee late arrival if needed. |
| |
| Luxury Motorcoach |
Travel in style
aboard the finest in luxury coaches.
There will be a systematic seat rotation
on each tour. Traveling partners will be rotated
together as seatmates. This will
allow everyone a different view from the
motorcoach and give passengers a
chance to meet other people on the tour.
The number and frequency of seats
moved will be determined by the length
of that tour. There will be few exceptions
to the seating plan. Any exceptions must
be approved by our office 14 days prior to
departure. |
| |
| Departure Points |
All our tours pick up
passengers at the Best Western North in
Wichita, Red Coach Inns in Newton &
McPherson, and Quality Inn in Salina. We
offer ADDITIONAL DEPARTURES for tours
that travel east on I-70 at the Abilene
Super 8, Junction City, Manhattan Clarion
and Topeka Holiday Inn-West. Tours which
are seven or more days in length and not
traveling east on I-70 will have a courtesy
shuttle pickup. There is free parking at
each of these locations. |
| |
| Luggage |
Our drivers and luggage handlers
at our hotels will take care of one
suitcase per person provided it weighs
less than 50 lbs. and does not exceed
combined dimensions (width + length +
depth) of 62 inches. Your large suitcase
will be handled for you from the moment
you arrive at the motorcoach at your departure
location. It will be taken from the
motorcoach to your hotel room each
evening and returned to the motorcoach
in the morning. In addition to your large
suitcase, a carry-on bag that you handle
is allowed. Carry-on bags must not exceed
dimensions of 39 inches. Prior to
the departure of the tour you will receive
a luggage tag for your large suitcase. If
you need to take a second large suitcase,
the extra cost is $4 per hotel. Please do
not pack prescription medications in your
large suitcase. |
| |
| Clothing |
Travel light and pack casual
clothes. Remember you are on vacation.
Wash and wear fabrics travel best. Layered
clothing makes for easy adjustment
to weather changes. It is a good idea to
have a sweater or a jacket to wear on
board the motorcoach. Comfortable walking
shoes are a must. If you need special
clothing, we will give you special instructions.
Many veteran travelers also take a
pillow for their personal comfort while on
the motorcoach. |
| |

Tour membership is available
to all travelers if the tour operator
can furnish special individual requests.
The Tour Director retains the right to terminate
the membership of any tour member

| Entry Into Canada & Mexico |
U.S. citizens traveling into Canada and Mexico by land or sea are required to show proof of citizenship either with a valid passport, passport card or a certified copy of a birth certificate along with a government issued photo ID (typically a driver’s license). Beginning June 1, 2009 all U.S. citizens traveling outside the United States will be required to have a passport or passport card. Prudent Tours recommends that all passengers traveling outside the United States on our tours carry a valid passport or passport card. The cost for a new U.S. passport is $100 and $70 for a renewal. A passport is valid for 10 years. Prudent Tours will give a discount of $25 per person on your final payment for any Prudent tour traveling into Canada or Mexico for passengers who obtain a new passport dated after August 1, 2007. In order to receive your discount you need to send us a photocopy of the picture page of your passport showing the date of issue. This is a one time per person offer. |

| Inspiration |
Each traveling day begins
with a brief devotional thought for the day
and prayer. Many tours will travel on Sunday
and a brief united worship service is
conducted while driving. If we check into
a hotel on Saturday and you wish to attend
church services that evening or prior
to our scheduled departure time on Sunday
morning, your Tour Director will help
locate a church for you. It will be your responsibility
to arrange for transportation
to the church service. |
| |
| Responsibility |
Prudent Tours and all
persons acting as agents accept no
responsibility or liability for delays,
damage or loss of property, or injury to
persons while on a Prudent Tour. We
reserve the right to modify the cost or
the schedule of the tour if necessary. |
| |
| A Friendly, Honest & Important Disclaimer |
At Prudent Tours we strive to price all our departures accurately and fairly. Sometimes, this means looking into our proverbial crystal ball and estimating future pricing long in advance. Fuel prices have been fluctuating sharply these days. We accept these fluctuations without passing them along to you, our valued members and customers, whenever we can. Whereas it has never been our policy to "nickel and dime" our valued clients, please know that we must have a policy of passing on some of these increases and shortfalls, should they occur. Any adjustment in tour prices would occur on our final billing letter for that tour. In instances where the increases are minimal, we will continue to absorb them as a cost of doing business. Your understanding of this issue is a matter of honesty and trust. We felt it important to mention here.
